Its direct, flat illumination helps hide blemishes while producing a pleasing round catchlight in the subject's eyes. Its simple, intuitive controls can be reached from in front of or behind the light. An included center-mounting bracket allows you to attach a camera or smartphone and position it properly in the center of the light. Many other ringlights use plastic cold shoes and cannot support much weight; however, this sturdy metal bracket can securely support a DSLR and is adjustable for height and fore and aft positioning. A separate light stand connection at the base of the ringlight has a tilt adjustment for angling the BR130B up or down.
