Photographing birds in the wild requires a mix of instinct, creativity and experience. Come learn from expert bird photographer Karen Schuenemann in this 2-part workshop.
Good technique is important, and in the lecture, we will cover the appropriate equipment for photographing birds and take a brief look at the basics of exposure and choosing both appropriate shutter speeds and depth of field. We will discuss in detail different focal length lenses and the best bird photography lenses, as well as focusing techniques and composition.
Then join us on location for the in-field shooting portion of the workshop. Instructor Karen will be guiding you step by step through capturing bird photos in their natural environment. Tuttle Cameras and Tamron will have some of their amazing lenses available for your use.Reserve Now
