If you want to know how to turn your vacation photos into next level travel photography, join us for this 2-hour class. In it you’ll learn aspects of travel-related photography, including:

  • Making the best use of the camera you have
  • Making sure you get the images and memories you're seeking 
  • Difference between "vacation" photographs and true "travel" photography

  • You’re ready to take you vacation photos to the next level.
  • What to bring/requirements: Attendee should be familiar with the basic functions and menus of their camera. Please bring your camera, and notepad.
    Make sure your camera battery is fully charged and you have an empty memory card ready to take pictures.
  • DSLR camera and your favorite prime, or wide angle zoom lens
  • Extra battery and memory card
  • 2-3 of your own travel photographs for review and conversation during the class session (not all photographs will be used)

Steven Barber- Instructor

Steve has documented his travel for more than 20-years. Traveling frequently for both a living and for pleasure he has photographed everything from the base of the Eiffel Tower and inside the Colosseum in Rome, to sunrise on Maui's Mount Haleakala and underwater shots at the Great Barrier Reef. He's studied with a number of renowned photographers.

​His photograph "Two Sisters" was the first professional image selected for Destinations Magazine's online Travel Gallery. His travel photographs have been featured at the Bixby Knolls Expo Art Center, and published online in the Wall Street Journal and in the promotional material for the film DREAMS WITH SHARP TEETH at the South by Southwest Film Festival (SXSW) in Austin, Texas.
